you like and what is it you like about them?
Like building a house, the first thing you do is drive around looking at
other houses for ideas. (Well, at least before $3+/gal gas we
did) Same is true for web sites... go cruise around the internet looking
at sites. They don't even have to be industry related. You have choices...
do you like French doors or sliding glass doors? For your site, do you like
top, left, right or lower navigation bars? Color scheme? Adds?? Promotions???
Your budget?
It always comes down to money, doesn't it? We're affordable, but we're not
free. We'll be able to give you an estimate based on the above information.
There are many reasons to consider remodeling (rebuilding or redesigning)
your existing web site. Maybe it's outdated, you may have outgrown the site
you have now, or maybe you had the kid down the street build it for you and
things don't quite work as they should? We'll use your current content (text,
graphics, photos, etc.) of your existing site if possible and place it into
fresh pages that are easy to navigate, nice to look at, and search engine
friendly. New menu or navigation system, new color scheme, new page headers
or banners... what ever you'd like to see! Of course, we can can always start
from scratch too if that's the best way to go.
Technology is also changing. Taking advantage of these advancements provides new ways to display things or make things happen on your web site which improves the viewing experience.
There are also those oh so popular search engines to consider! You know, Google, Yahoo, etc... if they can't find your web site, nobody else will either! Search engine optimization is part of our web site remodeling process.
Web site maintenance (as we define it), consists of any service done to
an existing web site. Compare it to the service you perform on your vehicle – change
the oil, rotate tires, etc. (We know you religiously change
your oil every 3,000 miles, right?). Regular maintenance programs are available (and recommended)
to ensure that your content stays fresh and up-to-date.
You might want to "clean up" your site by changing graphics, photographs or information? Maybe there's a price change, inventory change or a new item that needs to be added, or outdated information or items deleted? We may need to modify your meta tags in order to improve your search engine rankings and traffic? This is all part of our maintenance service.
Maintenance may be necessary on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis, depending on the site, and is essential to keep your site from becoming stale.
